0020: Wings Embroidery Software Update

Update Wings program levels

To activate or update the software key to run the program level purchased/loaned, please contact your Distributor and request the key codes. 

To update the key codes, follow the steps below:

Open Wings.
Select Tools -Options -Key.
Enter or copy/paste the new key codes into "New parts:" window, and click Update!
Click OK and then Close Wings.
Re-launch Wings.

Important Notice - Program Update

It is the Users responsibility to perform a backup of the current Wings program. This must be done successfully before the update is performed, as some necessary files from the old version will be used during the update procedure.
The recommended backup procedure to follow for this is to make a copy of the Wings folder and sub­directories.
When the backup is complete, please continue with the install steps below.
Make sure the drive points to the same drive running your current Wings program, ie. C:\ Wings, therefore installing on top of the old version.
Once the update install is complete, re-boot the PC.
When the main desktop appears, copy the Wings icon.
